Something We All Need To Know......

Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death!

I received this message through email from a friend. I didn't know these facts until I read them. It's very interesting. I knew however our words can be poisonous and hurtful to others. Our words can make a difference to even our own life and death.

It is written in the Bible,

"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

The reason for an untimely death is unknown to us but we can make a personal reflection about what we speak.  I found this message is very interesting and hope it is to you too.

It is written in the Bible,

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man sow, that shall he also reap....." Galatians 6:7

There are some men and women who mocked God:

  1.  John Lennon (Singer)

Some years before, during--he said, "Christianity will end, it will disappear.  I do not have to argue about that...I am certain.  Jesus was ok but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him." (1966)

Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.
  2. Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil)

During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency.

Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.
  3. Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet)

During a show in Canecio (Rio de Janeiro), while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said; "God, that's for you."

He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner.
  4. The man who built the Titanic

After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he said, "Not even God can sink it."

The result:  I think you all know what happened to the Titanic.

  5. Marilyn Monroe (Actress)

She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show.  He said the Spirit of God has sent him to preach to her.  After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said, "I don't need your Jesus."

A week later, she was found dead in her apartment.

  6. Ben Scott (Singer)

The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang: 'Don't stop me; I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell.'

On the 19th of February 1980, Ben Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.
  7. Campinas (In 2005)

In Campinas, Brazil, a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend....
The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in her car; "My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You."

She responded, "Only If He (God) travels in the trunk, 'cause inside here...It's already full."

Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact.

The police said that there was no way the trunk could have remained intact.  To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken.
  8. Christine Hewitt (Jamaican journalist and entertainer)

He said that the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written.

In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.

There is no other name.

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus.  Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive 'JESUS'.

Share this with your friends and neighbors! You will receive a miracle tomorrow.  I hope that you don't ignore and let God bless you.

I'm told THIS WORKS!!! Bishop T.D. Jakes '8 Second Prayer' Just repeat this prayer and see how God moves!!

'LORD, I love you and I need you, come into my heart, and bless me, my family, my home, and my friends, in Jesus' name.  Amen.

We can start a New Year with a kind word to one another.  This world will be a better place.

Learned to mind own business?

A joke of the day!

I received this one through my facebook.
It's too funny to keep it myself. So I want to share with my friends.

How I learned to mind my own business:

I was walking past the mental hospital the other day,
and all the patients were shouting. "13... 13... 13."

The fence was too high to see over, but
I saw a little gap in the planks, so I looked through
to see what was going on.

Some idiot poked me in the eye with a stick,
then they all started shouting, "14... 14... 14."

Romneyville vs Obamaville

Where do you choose to live in Romneyville or Obamaville?

There will be another presidential election this year.  For this time however, it won’t be just another presidential election.  It will be the most important presidential election we will ever have in our life time.  The result of the election will determine this country’s future.

We have already turned a corner and another four years of Obama Administration will turn this country into complete financial disaster. This country will not be the same, the United States which our founders had a vision and fought hard for.

There are too many people who bury their heads in sand to realize our country is in dire situation;
$15 trillion debts, unemployment is 8.5%, home foreclosures are the highest ever, more people are on food stamps, many cities and states are on the verge of bankruptcy and some are already in bankruptcy.

However, his cronies and union buddies are well taken care of with tax payers’ money.  His friends, solar and wind energy people are getting tax payers’ money but they do not need to pay back. Most of them filed the bankruptcy and there is no accountability for wasting tax payer's money.

Many people expected to get ‘Hope and Change’ but they’ve gotten ‘Despair and Debts’ instead.  Obama's lack of leadership is driving our country closer and closer to the financial disaster.

The question is which village do you want to live in?  Your choice will be obvious for Obamaville, IF;
 ·         you do not have an ambition to better yourself,
·         you think that Obamacare is perfect for you and your family,
·         you are happy with the government handouts,
·         the government protects only their cronies and watches out for themselves,
·         you need someone to tell you what to do in every aspect of your life
·         the government officials order you to do as what they say but not as what they do,
·         your liberty and freedom is not that important,
·         you think that our debts will not affect your future and future of  your children,
·         you are happy with where this country is heading.

I don’t know about you but my liberty and freedom are worth more.  I’d rather live with neighbors who respect my property, liberty, do not envy what I have, want to better themselves, help each other rather than the government handouts, and encourage others to do better.  I expect my government officials to be accountable rather than blame others.  Therefore, I’d rather live in Romneyville than Obamaville. Our future is much brighter and more safe in Romneyville.
Don’t you think?

Let’s compare these two villages. Which one is yours?

Homeless Talent Steals Audience's Heart

A homeless talent stuns the judges and steals audiences heartHere is his story.

We have seen many talents from veriety of TV shows through the years. Once in a while, there is a 'cream of the crops' appears from an unusual circumstance. If it happens, he or she inspires us in many ways. This is one of the cases.

I found this video from the YouTube. It's about a young man steals the audience and the judges' heart at a telent competition but his unusual circumstances moves everyone into tears.

His name is Sungbong Choi and he is 22 year old. His calm and humble explaination about his uncomfortness about the competition before on the stage.  "I always wanted to be a normal person."    "I don't sing well but it makes me feel a different person when I sing."

He appears to be a normal young man when he walks on the stage. No one even guessed by his appearance he is a homeless and alone until the judges started to ask questions about his background and his current occupation. Everyone including a judge nervously laughs at his answer about his occupation, "I'm a laborer."

According to him, he was dropped off at an orphanage when he was 3 years old. He didn't explain by whom. At age 6, he ran away from that orphanage after he was beaten up by the people at the orphange. Since then, he lived alone and survived by selling gums and sodas on the street for 10 years. He slept on stairs outside of the public buildings and public bathrooms.

While he was living on the street, he never went to school but took GED test for th elementary and middle school. High School was the only school experience that he ever had.

"I like to sing not because I enjoy it....I am not a good singer but I like sing." After his humble words, his beautiful voice moves everyone into tears at a singing talent show.

See yourself...

A Letter From Billy Graham

I just received this letter from Billy Graham by email. It's perfectly time appropriate for many people; hope for believers and insight for non-believers.
I would like to share the letter with you.

'God Knows Your Heartaches'
November 3, 2010 - Billy Graham encourages those who endure hardships.
by Billy Graham

In a few days I’ll be 92. I would have never dreamed I would live this long. My wife, Ruth, passed away a little over three years ago, and a little bit of me died with her. I miss her more with each passing day. This was Ruth’s favorite time of year. She enjoyed watching the leaves turn and couldn’t wait to build a fire at the first hint of autumn. Always joyful, Ruth brightened up the darkest of days.

Foreboding clouds darken the world this side of Heaven as controversy swirls over the debate “who is a Christian.” USA Today ran an article last month by a professor from the University of Chicago stating, “America’s fastest-growing brand of belief is non-belief.” Confronted with the myriad of religions in the world, it isn’t difficult to see why people are finding it easier to accept them all—or none at all. But having faith in religion only clouds the truth. It brings greater confusion and deeper doubt, because religion can be anything! The Bible indeed sheds light on this dilemma that stirs in the human soul and carries the truth of redemption by the death of our Savior and His glorious resurrection. This is truth—God coming to man in a personal relationship. This is why He sent His Son to earth to redeem the human soul from sin that leads to despair.

The Bible says, “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding” (Ephesians 1:7–8, NIV).

Recently Dr. Mark O’Farrell, president of Trinity College in Florida (where I attended Bible school as a young man), sent me the school’s newsletter with a wonderful insight from Scripture. He is graciously allowing me to share this tremendous spiritual application with you as to the state of despair that so many are experiencing today.

The Bible tells of the children of Israel who were enslaved in Egypt. One of their major tasks was to make bricks by an ancient process that required mixing clay and straw. The Egyptian taskmasters stopped providing the necessary straw, ordering the laborers to find their own straw, but with no adjustment in the quota of bricks they were required to produce. What was necessary to accomplish the work was taken away even though the expectation and demands remained the same.

Have you experienced this kind of despair—having to make bricks without straw? The income is no longer there, but the bills keep coming. Resources and workers are cut, but not the workload. Age or health robs strength, but life’s duties remain. A wife or husband is gone, yet family responsibilities continue. What is your straw that has been taken away even though you must somehow still complete the task or fulfill the responsibility?

The Bible says, “The people of Israel groaned because of their slavery and cried out for help. ... God heard their groaning. ... God saw the people of Israel—and God knew” (Exodus 2:23–25, ESV). God knows your heartaches! He hears you when you cry to Him. He knows that your straw has been taken away. He knows your hurt, your fear and groaning. He knows! And He is doing something about it. “I know their sufferings, and I have come down to deliver them” (Exodus 3:7).

The Deliverer is on the way! How God acts on your behalf may not be exactly the way you envision, and His timing may not be what you prefer, but He knows your situation and He remembers His promises to you.

Going through hardship tends to plow up the surface of our lives to uncover the depths that provide greater strength of purpose. Deeply plowed earth yields bountiful harvests. When difficulties come we must learn to entrust each day into God’s hands and express our thanks to the Lord for never leaving us alone. I have talked with many over the years who have fallen on hard times but found light in the darkness while expressing thankfulness to God.

As we approach the Thanksgiving season I am reminded of the many commands in God’s Word to be thankful in all things. "Begin the thanksgiving in prayer" (Nehemiah 11:17, KJV); "Come into his presence with thanksgiving” (Psalm 95:2, ESV); and then the Scripture urges us to “Continue in prayer ... with thanksgiving" (Colossians 4:2, KJV).

There is no better time than now to thank all those who have stood with us in prayer and support in the work God is doing through the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. I am grateful for each one who joins with us in reaching out to where the Gospel seed is being sown. There remain nations to be cultivated and souls to be redeemed. There are harvest lands of great promise.

I long to tell more people about God’s truth and the salvation it brings when people repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ who loves us and longs to hear our lips praise Him for the mighty works He has done. Perhaps the Lord will strengthen me in the coming year to once again stand with Bible in hand to declare with thanksgiving that salvation is found in the Lord Jesus Christ, rich in mercy and love. The Bible says, "For [God’s] mercy reaches unto the heavens, and [His] truth unto the clouds" (Psalm 57:10, NKJV).

May God bless you,
Billy Graham

Our Liberty and Freedom

America is Broke!
Obama admin. is bailing out unions as there is no tomorrow. It doesn't matter there is no money left. He is willing to write blank checks. One can conclude that he really doesn't care neither the future of this country nor the future of our children's well being. He is only looking after his own future and a few interest groups in order to preserve his own power.
Here is a letter that one of the Local Union Office sent out to its members asking to vote for Jerry Brown as the next Governor of California. Campaigning for Jerry Brown is one thing however, it's troubling on their attitude about Corporations and 'according to them so call 'rich tycoon' are another. We have unemployment rate of its own members, construction workers, are over 23% even higher in some areas in California. I haven't seen any 'shovel ready jobs' the government promised. Only hope that I see is that some Corporations and 'rich tycoon' start spend money to hire them. As we all know, a poor person doesn't hire people but a rich can.
We are living in a very troubling time. America that we all know and are proud of is fading away. Unfortuately, some people don't see it yet that our liberty and freedom which our forefathers fought vigorously for, is going down with it slowly.
Wake up Ameria! We can change it on November Election 2010.

A Glass of Milk

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water! She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk.

He drank it so slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you?"

”You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness."

He said ... "Then I thank you from my heart."

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Many year's later that same young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.

Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.

Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once.

He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to her case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won.

Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge, and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all.

Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words ...

"Paid in full with one glass of milk"

(Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, God, that Your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands."

There's a saying which goes something like this:

Bread cast on the water comes back to you. The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time. If you never see the deed again at least you will have made the world a better place - And, after all, isn't that what life is all about?
