LOOK UP

You see things in different perspective.
The other day I heard something interesting from Dr. David Jeremiah about looking things in perspective. I want to share it with you.

We tend to be discouraged and to lose enthusiasm when times are tough economically. Particularly, we see what’s going on now; how many homes are in foreclosures, gas and food prices are going up, people are losing jobs, and there are food shortages in some countries. We hear discouraging news day in and day out.

Once in a while, one person’s wisdom can bring about hope and happiness to many of us by looking things in different perspective. According to Dr. Jeremiah, we have choice to look AROUND, look DOWN, or look UP when we go through tough times. We can look around and see all the bad news surrounding our lives and let them influence us. Or, we can look down and see every dirt and mass around us and be depressed about it. Or, we can look up and see the light that gives us hope and bright future. You don’t have to be a Christian to see the wisdom in it.

It’s not easy to do when we think everything is against us. We tend to concentrate on negative things more than good things surrounding our lives and often be overwhelmed by them.

Life goes on and we have a choice to live the rest of our lives being happy and hoping for the best or, discouraged, depressed, and unhappy. Things are not going to look better until we start to see things in positive perspective. We attract what we think about.

I don’t know about you but I purposely look up and see things in positive perspective especially now. Economy will get better in time whether I’m happy or not and I’d rather be happy and hope for the future.

Dr. Jeremiah's wisdom inspired me to look things in different perspective. I hope he gave you the opportunity to do the same.
